Really good take out - we tried a shrimp bowl, fish of the day bowl a quesadilla and a chicken bowl. I highly recommend ordering online - when you go to pick up you can go to the little side window next to the window where people line up for walk up orders. The amount of food is filling but not huge. The price is good - not cheap - you don't want dirt cheap fish or shrimp anyway. Is it "incredible "? Does not need to be. Enjoy

one of our FAVORITE meals on the island, and very much worth the price given the quantity and quality of the food. we ordered takeout from here and took it to Poipu beach nearby to eat at sunset, watching the turtles come out - amazing idea. food was good and very filling

I come to Kauai every year and every time we come here we bring new folks. Da Crack is always good!! Keep in mind.. there is no seating there, but don't let that stop you! The food is amazing, service is great and it's worth the stop. We always get a fish burritos but had a few people get things like quesadilla, beef bowls and everything was delish! Make this a stop when you're in Poipu!

Best shrimp burrito have ever had, and as an old Californian that's eaten burritos from SF to LA to SD and Mexico, that's a lot of burritos. Wife loved her shrimp burrito bowl. Roughly 80% of the shrimp sold in California originates as frozen from Vietnam; by contrast, the restaurants of Hawaii typically source fresh local shrimp. The owner(s) and staff of Da Crack clearly care about their product, quality ingredients prepared right - seafood not overcooked, properly spiced, fresh flavorful veggies, well balanced so one flavor doesn't overpower. Thank you to everyone at Da Crack.

It took a few visits but I'd finally arrived at a conclusion: Mexican fare in Hawaii is sub-par, avoid it. When, on my most recent visit, I discovered the window in the wall that is the entirety of Da Crack, I was intrigued. The reviews were good from yelpers I trust, the steady stream of customers spoke volumes, and the combination of those things caused me to break my own rule. I ate Mexican food again, in Hawaii. But, as they say, past performance doesn't dictate future results. This time I was pleased with the offering. This is the best Mexican fare I've yet sampled in Hawaii. I opted for a carne asada bowl which was positively overflowing with ingredients. There were enough good tastes in the bowl that I was basically able to stop eating by the time I hit the rice (brown or Spanish are the two options); I was full and rice is always the part that interests me the least. The carne asada was different than what I generally favor, as were all the flavors, in general, but the combination of it all was still good. Bottom line? I was pleased. Da Crack is literally a window. All orders are to-go and there's no place to sit nearby. Still, it's the best Mexican fare I've found on the islands and the only such fare that I've not regretted after sampling.

Delicious burritos! We were craving some Mexican food after a long day hiking, and Da Crack hit the spot! It is a small, takeout-only window with a simple menu (customize your own burrito, bowl, or taco) in a parking lot, but can draw some big crowds. Most people seemed to stand around their cars eating. Paying with cash gives a small discount too! We tried the shrimp burrito and the Carne Asada burrito, and both were very tasty and quite large! The shrimp was a little hard to find at first, but there was actually a generous portion stuffed in the middle. The meats were well cooked and very flavorful. There is a small market next door with some benches outside if you are looking for a quick place to sit down. I will definitely be back next time we are in Kauai!

Arrived on a Friday afternoon at around 3 pm and there was barely anyone here. Everytime we drove by here though at around 5 or 6 pm, there is a long line of people waiting. We tried the following combination: -Bowl, shrimp, brown Rice, lava, chipotle sour cream, olives -Bowl, chicken, mexican rice, pico de gallo, chipotle sour cream, cabbage, guacamole (it is an extra cost for the guac) The lava was so spicy but mixed well in my dish. Shrimp was not rubbery at all. The husband said the guacamole was a good add as it added more flavor to the dish. Both dishes were flavorful and was not bland at all. We appreciated that each bowl, they placed each side by side vs mix the ingredients together as I liked mine more mixed and he liked mixing it piece by piece as he ate through it. Overall, I definitely recommend Da Crack! Fun name, great food.
